Travel from one stargate to the next stargate. No scripting or addon textures required.
In radiant load your map.Next go to file Load Prefab and point to the stargate_travel_prefab.
Move the prefab to a location above ground.Hit esc on keyboard or selection/deselect in radiant.
I left the steps in the prefab but you can select the steps and delete them if you wish
just do not delete the func_teleportdests by accident as they are needed to make the teleports
work.Assuming you deleted the steps, next draw a brush around stargate1 and the func_teleportdest
thats closest to stargate1 or stargate2 and the func_teleportdest thats closest to stargate2, your
choice which one you move first. With the brush around stargate1 and the func_teleportdest
thats closest to stargate1 click selection/select inside in radiant this will highlight stargate1
and the func_teleportdest so you can move it to desired location.Notice when you are moving stargate1
that in radiant there are lines connecting stargate1 to stargate2 thats what you want.Move stargate1
along with func_teleportdest thats closest to stargate1 to your desired location in your map and deselect.
Do the same with stargate2.Compile your map and test the stargates. All credit goes to Sg.Pepper for his
stargate model all i did was prefab it and make it functional.I included a stargate_travel_test.bsp that
can be placed in your dm folder for a quick look to see if you like these stargates before including them
in your map
